Beautiful Oakhurst Garden was the first garden in the Wylde Center family. It was founded in 1997 as a community garden that focused on environmental education. Since then, the garden has seen a lot of change, most recently with large-scale improvements to the garden and the building on the property. Because it was the first garden, people often refer to Oakhurst Garden as Wylde Center.
